To continue my understanding of processing scripts i have had a look at two different tutorials provided on the processing website. The first one, colour by Daniel Shiffman goes into detail about how colour is recorded and represented on not just processing by digital formats. He details the simplest scale of colour which is the grayscale which is represented by the range of numbers between 0 and 255, 0 being black and 255 being white. He then goes into RGB colour, which is a three number system which mixes red green and blue to create any colour on screen. He then describes the colours ‘alpha’ or the transparency of the colour which relies on the same range as grayscale, as zero is comepletely transparent and 255 is comepletely opaque.
